obsession with vintage...
can't help it
don't care
won't stop
can't change
far too old to ever do so...
change that is.

UPDATE ON BRIAN'S DAD
John had major surgery on his spine a few days ago. The purpose was to remove 5 vertebrae, C3-7 I think it was. They were so damaged from the cancer that he was facing immediate catastrophic spinal collapse which would have rendered him a parapalegic for the remainder of his days and could have led to choking to death. The removal of the vertebrae and insertion of a metal bar will alleviate that possibility. He will undergo radiation to slow down the progression of the remaining cancer in his spine. There are tumors throughout his body, the ribs, lungs, abdomen etc.
It's been difficult, but Brian's dad is very adamant that we all continue with our lives in the normal fashion, which we have been doing.
Facing death is never easy.
However, I do know that as human beings, we're wired to be able to cope with the big things life tosses our way.
We'll just keep on coping and living life and accept this chapter.
